Now I'm not prideful enough to think I can fix everything but what if I help point out things I believe could use a little "work"?
The Bible clearly states, "...because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world".
( 1 John 4) OK, here is the way I see it (with the above scripture in mind) either the Bible is wrong or many Christians are running around thinking they are defeated or at best are "hanging on" until they get to Heaven
This is a defeatist attitude and not one that parallels with Paul's interpretation calling us "more than conquerors" (Romans 8:37) So in my not so subtle way I'm calling out weak and wimpy Christians and telling them they have been deceived. There is only one way to break free from this deception, you must know the truth.
That is where we come in, Bible Study Online is designed to encourage, inspire and educate Christians using the only Truth that matters, the word of God. If you do not believe the Bible is the true word of God, this will not be for you. But if you are struggling in any area of your life and are searching for answers, this may be what the Dr. ordered.
If you want a more specific definition, this is a discipleship course but since discipleship is not as popular as a Bible study, we are going to call it a Bible study and "trick" you into becoming a disciple of Christ. Jesus told believers, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples." (John 8:31)
You don't have to try to become a disciple, if you will "abide" in God's word, becoming a disciple will happen, naturally. That's it, easy as it can be right? Wait, there is a problem, we have an enemy, and his goal is to steal, kill or destroy you and your family.
He hates everything God has created, and God created you, so this enemy hates you. Deception is his best weapon and he uses deception to "ensnare" his victims. By the way, he is very good at what he does. How do you break free of deception? By knowing the Truth, "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32) Abundant life is possible for every believer but you must break free of deception.
